I am a fifth-year PhD Candidate at the University of Oregon in the Louca lab. My research is focused on using bioinformatics to develop tools that aid in microbiological research. My dissertation work aims to synthesize existing empirical data on microbial metabolic traits, and use these data as a central tool in a functional prediction software for OTUs detected in microbiome surveys. I am graduating in Spring of 2026 and seeking postdoctoral/teaching opportunities for Fall of 2026. In addition to science, I will occasionally upload personal blog posts and updates on creative projects (mostly music-related).
