I am a research analyst at the University of Oregon in the Louca lab, where I recently completed my PhD. My PhD research was focused on using bioinformatics to develop tools that aid in microbiological research. My dissertation work aimed to synthesize existing empirical data on microbial metabolic traits, and use these data as a central tool in a functional prediction software for organisms detected in microbiome surveys. I am currently seeking postdoctoral/teaching opportunities for this upcoming fall. In addition to science, I will be uploading personal blog posts and updates on creative projects (mostly music-related).
